The following are the most important requirements.
1. Light
Requirements
2. Water Requirements
3. Insect Control
First I'll start with the light.
Most indoor plants can live with medium light to high light.
Medium to low light would be considered
near a window or outdoor light source which will be directed at one time or another on the surface of the leaves for 2 to
5 hours a day.
Plants that could be considered would be Draceaneas, Alglaonema, Schefflera,
Pothos, Philodendron, Raffis Palms, Bamboo Palms, and others.
If you have a specific plant email me and I'll give you the right information.
High Light plants t would require to be in a
window or outdoor light source which will be directed at one time or another on the surface of the leaves for 5 hours
or more in a day.
Plants that would be considered are Ficus Trees, Assorted Palms, Schefflera,
Aralia, Cactus, and others.
Please email if you have questions regarding a plant you have.
The most confusing light requirement is Low Light.
When they say low light they mean supplemental lighting (artifical light).
Also, a area in the house or office which will get natural or artifical light for at least 3 hours a day. Plants can't
live in a location that dosen't have this much light. The plants will begin to loose leaves, stems will begin to die
and plants will not dry out resulting in loss of life.
Plants that would work in low light are Draceaneas, Philodendron, Pothos,
Aglaoneama and a few others.
But only with the proper care can you keep a
plant alive under these conditions.
